    Adv. Shai Pnini is a leading lawyer with unique expertise in representing manufacturers, suppliers, retailers and distributors of food products and beverages. He provides legal advice and support on all areas relating to ongoing operations, adjusting activities to address changing regulations, financial sanctions, class action lawsuits, and representation in complex contracts related to food retail and marketing activities in Israel. Since 2014 Shai has been serving as a representative in the Food Authority Association.
     
    Shai provides ongoing support to our clients, particularly to food chain stores, whether they comprise only a handful of branches or are massive organizations with national-wide presence. He also provides ongoing legal consultancy in matters relating to the firm’s areas of expertise, including service agreements, procurement, development, manufacture, distribution, franchising, and agreements relating to the supply chain. Within this framework, Shai advises on a broad range of retail related legal issues, including marking prices, the Consumer Protection Law, the Product & Services Supervision Law, and additional matters.
     
    In matters relating to employment, Shai provides comprehensive legal consultancy starting from drawing up employment contracts, representation in regional courts and the National Labor Court, representation before workers’ organizations, and representation in proceedings relating to employers’ and employees’ rights, pre-dismissal hearings, collective agreements, and extension orders.
     
    As part of representing some of Israel’s leading retail chain stores, Shai has participated in Labor, Social Services and Health Committee discussions in the Israeli Parliament (the Knesset), including involvement in drafting the Public Health Law (Food) 2015, and leading significant legislative amendments to the law in the Knesset. He has also participated in countless Economics Committee discussions on various issues related to the food retail sector.
